Core Principles
$LI We hope to build a unique community that, in an authoritarian environment like China, defends human rights, press freedom, and freedom of speech. As the $LI community grows, we aim to build consensus and jointly promote these core values.
What is the 611 Study System?
"611Study" refers to "School starts at 6 AM, ends at 11 PM, sick in ICU." This has become a common phenomenon in Chinese middle schools.
Students spend over 102 hours per week at school, severely damaging their mental and physical health. This model is worse than prison.
What can we do?
- Fill out the Overtime Study School Registration Survey, update the nationwide Shame List
- Report listed schools to out-of-area education bureaus and mayor hotlines collaboratively
- Participate in the community to propose new topics and solutions
- Get off school by 6 PM 🕕 — this is the right we deserve
Principles and Vision
611Study.ICU is a grassroots shout from students. We encourage people from different regions and fields to join the discussion. Our community advocates for mature, responsible, and constructive speech to jointly explore solutions.
